Dr. Donahue graduated from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. She received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University’s Lyman Briggs College, majoring in scientific writing. Dr. Donahue has been with SVC since 1987 starting as an assistant while working her way through college and veterinary school. Her professional interests include reproduction, behavior, and preventative medicine. She is a member of the MVMA’s Animal Welfare Committee. She also serves on the Health Professional Recovery Committee, a Michigan licensing board that protects public safety and supports health licensees dealing with substance abuse or mental illness. Dr. Donahue loves to spend time with her 3 kids, to travel, read, play soccer, and run. Her family pets include a rescue border collie/terrier mix and two French Bulldogs.
